We are looking for Fiber Technician who will be responsible for the installation, termination, splicing, testing, and maintenance of fiber optic cables and associated equipment. He/She will ensure the efficient operation of fiber optic infrastructure to support high-speed data, voice, and video communications.

Roles
1.Install fiber optic cables, including aerial, and indoor installations, according to engineering plans and specifications.
2.Perform routine maintenance on fiber optic cables and equipment to prevent outages and ensure optimal performance.
3.Communicate with customers to understand their requirements, address concerns, and provide technical support as needed.
4.Collaborate with engineers, and other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.

Academic Qualification
- Proven experience in fiber optic installation, termination, splicing, and testing.
- Familiarity with fiber optic equipment such as fusion splicers, OTDRs, power meters, and cable testers.
- Strong understanding of fiber optic theory, industry standards, and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as required.
